How this one is built
Top-layer hide
The violet leather has a tight grain that resists visible scuffing through regular use. We edge-paint the panels to protect the cuts, and the hide softens slightly along the top zip with wear.
Divided interior layout
Inside, our dark brown polyester lining splits into two main compartments separated by a central zipped partition. You will find one side zip pocket and two open slip pouches for smaller items.
Handle and shoulder carry
Twin top handles give a 7.48 inch drop for hand carry. We also include a detachable shoulder strap that adjusts from 45.66 to 51.57 inches long using solid silver-toned dog clips and a buckle.
Exterior zip pocket
A zippered pocket sits flat against the rear panel. It keeps your train pass, keys, or phone close to your body while leaving the main top zipper closed.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 13″ by 10.6″ across the face and 4.3″ deep, it comes to about 597 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 13-inch laptop, sheet of A4 or letter paper, 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
