How this one is built
Top-layer black hide
We select top-layer cowhide for its tight grain and resilience. The black finish gives the surface a soft sheen under daylight, while the structured panels keep the satchel upright without sagging over time.
Pocket layout
The main top zipper opens to a dark brown polyester lining split into two open compartments by a full-length divider zip pocket. We stitched a smaller zip pocket on one wall and two slip pouches on the other.
Silver hardware
We fitted the bag with silver-toned buckles, zipper tracks, and four protective metal feet on the flat base. These metal rivets keep the base leather clear of wet counters and rough surfaces.
Strap and handles
Dual rolled leather handles offer a clean hand grip, while the detachable shoulder strap adjusts from 45.27 to 51.57 inches long. You can unclip the strap entirely or adjust the buckle for crossbody wear.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 12.6″ by 9.4″ across the face and 5.5″ deep, it comes to about 651 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 13-inch laptop, sheet of A4 or letter paper, 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
