How this one is built
Top-layer violet cowhide
The hide has a fine natural grain that resists light scratches. We dyed it in a cool violet tone that pairs cleanly against charcoal wool or white linen, finished with matching edge paint.
Divided interior layout
Inside our dark brown polyester lining, two main open sections flank a central zip compartment. We set one smaller zippered wall pocket and two open slip pouches for keys and cards.
Base studs and hardware
We fitted the bottom panel with silver-tone metal rivets to keep the leather off damp tables. The main zipper glides smoothly across the top opening, secured by solid cast metal pulls.
Handle drop and strap
Sturdy rolled leather top handles sit comfortably in the crook of an arm. We include a detachable strap that adjusts from 45.27 to 51.57 inches for over-the-shoulder or crossbody carrying.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 12.6″ by 9.4″ across the face and 5.5″ deep, it comes to about 651 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 13-inch laptop, sheet of A4 or letter paper, 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
