How this one is built
Top-layer hide and hardware
We select supple top-layer cowhide for the body and pair it with silver-toned metal fittings. The grey finish stays uniform across the panels, while reinforced handle bases handle the strain of daily loads.
Interior compartments and lining
Inside, dark brown polyester lines two open main sections divided by a central zipped pocket. You also get an interior wall zip pouch and two slip pockets for smaller items, all secured beneath the main top zipper.
Handles and shoulder strap
Dual top handles sit comfortably in the hand for carry by the side. For shoulder wear, attach the matching leather strap, which adjusts from 45.27 to 51.57 inches long using solid metal clasps.
Base rivets and structure
Four metal rivets are set directly into the lower panel to keep the leather off rough surfaces. Even when only half full, the structured base helps the satchel sit upright without folding in on itself.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 12.6″ by 9.4″ across the face and 5.5″ deep, it comes to about 651 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 13-inch laptop, sheet of A4 or letter paper, 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
