How this one is built
Top-layer hide patchwork
We stitch together hand-cut sections of top-layer cowhide to build each exterior shell. The surface keeps its natural grain, which softens with use while holding the stitched seams firmly in place under weight.
Interior pocket layout
Inside the main zip compartment, we set two slip pockets for phones alongside a zip wall pocket and a secondary side zip pocket. A final zippered pocket sits on the exterior back panel for quick reach.
Detachable shoulder strap
The bag comes with fixed twin carry handles and a separate, adjustable leather shoulder strap running up to 48.43 inches long. Metal clasps clip onto side d-rings so you can swap carry styles in seconds.
Base and structural balance
At roughly two pounds, the flat bottom panel spans over four inches across. It provides a steady footprint that prevents the bag from tipping or flattening out when you set it down half-loaded.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 13.6″ by 9.5″ across the face and 4.3″ deep, it comes to about 556 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 13-inch laptop, sheet of A4 or letter paper, 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
