How this one is built
Vegetable tanned hide
We select vegetable tanned cowhide for this satchel, giving the exterior a supple grain that breaks in gradually. The coffee tone shows slight variation across the cut panels, darkening softly along stress points over months of regular carry.
Two part strap build
The strap uses a detachable extension section. Keep both pieces connected for a crossbody drop between 19.49 and 24.8 inches, or remove the short segment to shorten the shoulder drop down to between 11.73 and 14.56 inches.
Polyester lining layout
Inside, we line the main chamber with brown polyester twill to resist snagging. You get one open slot pocket for a flat phone or card sleeve, plus an interior zippered wall pocket to keep loose cash and keys secured.
Gunmetal hardware fit
We mount custom gunmetal hardware across the strap buckles and zip sliders. The dark metallic finish matches the deep coffee leather, and the main top zipper pull glides cleanly along the curved crescent line without catching on the gusset.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 15.7″ by 6.7″ across the face and 3.2″ deep, it comes to about 338 cubic inches inside. That is enough for long wallet and a phone.
