We cut this crescent profile from vegetable-tanned leather in a rich, warm brown that deepens as it takes on daily handling. At 15.66 inches long, 3.23 inches deep, and 6.69 inches tall, the curved body weighs 1.1 pounds on the bench and settles neatly under the arm without sagging out of shape.
Holds
The brown leather has a supple temper that responds well to flexing. Scuffs blend into the surface with light friction, and the hide gains character across the curve rather than cracking.
We built the strap in two distinct sections. Use the single segment for a shoulder drop between 11.73 and 14.56 inches, or link both pieces together to extend the crossbody drop from 19.49 to 24.8 inches.
The main compartment is lined with matching brown polyester. Inside sits a dedicated slip slot for quick access to a phone or card case, paired with a secure zipped wall pocket for loose receipts and cash.
The metal zips and strap clips are finished in a dark gunmetal tone. The teeth run smooth along the curved top opening, sealing the interior while resisting tarnish from weather and regular handling.
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 15.7″ by 6.7″ across the face and 3.2″ deep, it comes to about 338 cubic inches inside. That is enough for long wallet and a phone.
