How this one is built
Top-grain distressed cowhide
We chose a top-grain hide with a broken-in wax finish. The surface marks lightly with use and settles into a darker tone along friction points, hiding everyday scratches rather than highlighting them.
Interior pocket arrangement
The main compartment is lined in durable polyester. Inside, we placed two zippered pockets alongside an open slot pocket, paired with a flat zipper pocket on the back exterior for quick-access items.
Base hardware and structure
Four solid gunmetal feet protect the bottom panel from rough surfaces. The firm 5.7-inch base keeps the tote standing upright when you set it down to unpack, even if it is half empty.
Dual handles and strap
The twin leather handles sit balanced in your grip. We also include a detachable shoulder strap measuring up to 49.92 inches long, which can be adjusted or punched with extra holes for cross-body carry.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 13.4″ by 9.4″ across the face and 5.7″ deep, it comes to about 717 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 13-inch laptop, sheet of A4 or letter paper, 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
