We cut this mid-sized hobo from vegetable-tanned cowhide with a deliberate distressed finish. How this one is built
Vegetable-tanned hide
The wine-dyed cowhide shows natural grain variations and intentional vintage distressing. We left the surface untreated by heavy plastics, so the hide softens under your arm and gains a darker patina as you handle it.
Pocket layout
Two open exterior slip pockets give fast access to a phone or train pass. Inside, the coffee polyester lining holds two main compartments, divided with one zipped pocket and one open wall pocket for loose keys.
Two strap options
We include a matching leather strap that adjusts up to 47.63 inches alongside a patterned boho webbing strap. Both clip on and off gunmetal dog-lead swivels, letting you switch carry heights in seconds.
Hardware and base
Dark gunmetal zippers and buckles match the deep red leather without flashing brightly. The flat base measures nearly three inches wide, keeping the bag upright on a desk even when packed light.
Carrying it
The bag rides high, just below the ribs. At 10.6″ by 10″ across the face and 3″ deep, it comes to about 315 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 11-inch tablet, water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
