We built this small hobo to stay light at 1.2 pounds while holding its gentle curve. The frame measures 10.5 inches long, 4.2 inches deep, and 6.3 inches tall. How this one is built

Vegetable-tanned cowhide

We selected vegetable-tanned leather for this build because it softens with regular use without losing its structural shape. The light brown tone takes on minor surface marks easily, blending them into a smooth patina over time.

Two interchangeable straps

We include a matching leather strap that adjusts from 22 to 25 inches, alongside a wider woven floral strap extending from 15 to 25.5 inches. Both clip directly onto the metal side rings.

Pocket layout and access

A metal top zip opens wide to a single main compartment. Inside, we stitched one open slip pocket for your phone and one secure zip pocket against the back wall for cards or smaller items.

Lining and construction

We lined the interior with a smooth, pale polyester fabric to protect your belongings and keep the inside bright. Reinforced thread runs along the base seams to handle daily wear without pulling loose.

Carrying it

The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 10.5″ by 6.3″ across the face and 4.2″ deep, it comes to about 278 cubic inches inside. That is enough for long wallet and a phone.
