We cut this hobo from vegetable-tanned cowhide with an intentional vintage finish. In natural daylight, the brown tone shows subtle surface variations across the grain. How this one is built

Distressed vegetable hide

We selected vegetable-tanned leather that feels supple out of the box. The brown surface takes small scuffs and blends them in over months of handling, softening further along the base folds as you carry it.

External zip layout

Two front zip pockets sit flat against the panel, paired with a rear zip pocket on the body side. They give you separate slots for keys and a phone before you touch the main top zipper.

Lining and main hold

Inside the main zip, we used bronze polyester lining reinforced along the interior seams. The hold includes one open slip slot and one internal wall zip pocket to divide small cosmetics from your main contents.

Wide floral strap

The detachable webbing strap adjusts from 31.2 to 50.7 inches end to end. Its wide weave spreads the 1.18-pound empty weight across your shoulder, anchoring to the tarnish-resistant metal rings on the side gussets.

Carrying it

The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 7.9″ by 8.7″ across the face and 5.1″ deep, it comes to about 349 cubic inches inside. That is enough for water bottle standing upright, long wallet and a phone.
