4.5 from 1,284 reviews

We cut this mid-sized shoulder bag from soft vegetable tanned cowhide, dyed to a deep coffee tone with a subtle distressed surface that takes scuffs in stride. The base measures 10.63 inches long by 4.53 inches deep, standing 8.27 inches tall. At about one and a half pounds empty, it carries steady without pulling hard on the collarbone.

How this one is built

Vegetable tanned hide

The top-layer hide is tanned with plant extracts for a soft temper and supple grain. Surface oils soften minor scrapes over time, deepening the coffee shade as the leather flexes and patinas under daily handling.

Triple top closure

Three distinct top zips divide the main cavity so small goods do not migrate. We matched them with dark tarnish metal teeth that pull smooth across the frame, seated securely against the reinforced bronze polyester lining.

Exterior quick access

Two zipped pockets sit across the front panel for bus passes, lip balm, and receipts. The rear panel carries a single zipped slot that rests flat against your hip to keep travel documents secure while walking.

Adjustable leather strap

The detachable shoulder strap runs from 27.55 to 51.18 inches end to end. Swivel clips let you switch between a high shoulder carry and a low crossbody drop without twisting the leather band.

Carrying it

The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 10.6″ by 8.3″ across the face and 4.5″ deep, it comes to about 398 cubic inches inside. That is enough for 11-inch tablet, long wallet and a phone.
