How this one is built
Vegetable-tanned black hide
We selected full-grain vegetable-tanned leather and distressed it by hand for a worn-in texture. The black dye absorbs deep into the grain, so daylight brings out subtle surface variations rather than a flat synthetic sheen.
Two interchangeable straps
We include two distinct straps with solid silver-toned clips. The fixed short strap measures 25.04 inches for tucking under the arm, while the longer belt adjusts from 38.97 to 46.85 inches for cross-body wear.
Pocket arrangement
The exterior features an outer slip pocket for quick phone access. Inside, our warm curry-colored lining brightens the interior, split with two drop slots to keep cards, cash, and keys separated from the main compartment.
Structure and hardware
The body holds its profile even when half empty. Smooth silver-tone zippers pull cleanly around the corners, and the reinforced base keeps the 2.75-inch depth stable when you set the bag down on a table.
Carrying it
The bag sits at the hip. This is where most of ours land. At 10.4″ by 5.7″ across the face and 2.8″ deep, it comes to about 163 cubic inches inside. That is enough for long wallet and a phone.
